How the FED and the Ethereum merger are crashing the crypto market?
The crypto market is not in the best shape right now: the price of BTC fell 15.72% over the week, while ETH fell 25.59% over the week. In the case of ETH a special conversation - the Ethereum merger was a reason for many to sell.
One of the main factors affecting the market is the U.S. inflation data and the FED's plans to raise its key rate. The Fed is now trying to "cool down" the economy in order to somehow curb price increases. This move is expected to cause a rejection of high-risk assets in the market, which include cryptocurrencies. A similar scenario has already been seen this year: after the FED announced its third 0.75% rate hike in June, the price of BTC plummeted from more than $22,000 to less than $17,700.
Both the FED meeting this week and the ETH merger will have a negative impact on the crypto market this month.
Most importantly, it has no impact whatsoever on the poker market.
